Sedge Warbler / Schilfrohrsänger

The Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus schoenobaenus) is a songbird of the genus Rohrernänger (Acrocephalus) and the family of warblers (Sylviidae). No subtypes are distinguished. Apart from the south-west of Central Europe, the reed warbler is a widespread breeding and summer bird in many parts of Central Europe. In the whole of Central Europe, however, he appears as a straggler and resting bird.
